This is my favourite tsukemen (dipping ramen) place hands down, and I say that as someone who's eaten a lot of tsukemen! Get the regular tempura chicken (so juicy) and add on char siu (so tender), bloody delicious. Waiting time can get long if you come during peak dinner hours so we've skipped the queue by coming much later (>8pm) so we hardly wait for a seat (<5mins), food comes out fast too. Portions are huge even for the normal so don't upsize unless you're very confident you can eat heaps, I equate the regular size to a large meal at other places. Didn't enjoy the tempura pork as much as some bits often be over fried/too hard. Also beware you could burn your tongue from the fried chicken because of how juicy it is. There's one free dipping sauce refill + ask for the dashii soup when you're done with the noodles but have sauce leftover to complete the experience, I reccommend a 1:2 ratio of dashii soup to remaining sauce. Love the place because it's very informal and not as pretentious as other highly rating tsukemen places.

We got the spicy tsukemen with the pork cutlet. What a great dish, never had it spicy before. Noodles were bouncy, this dish is heavy though but it was yummy. Loved the richness of it and they were so efficient, food came fast and make sure you ask for an apron!

Amazing broth with perfectly thick noodles, this might be my favourite tsukemen now! The charsiu was delicious and soft, the fried pork was a bit tough, but the fried chicken stole the show as it was juicy and fried with delicious batter Medium size was a very generous serving, and there is 1 free soup refill (more refills available for an additional fee)

Great spot! The food was good – I just didn’t hit my dish this time. Which only means one thing: I’ll have to come back and work my way through more of the menu. Luckily, the menu was in English and easy to understand, even for a slightly confused tourist like me. I noticed that absolutely everyone around me was eating the same dish, so I’m guessing that’s the house specialty. I definitely need to try that next time – I refuse to be the only one who doesn’t know what the hype is about. The vibes were great, the music was spot on, and the staff gave me that little nod that said: “It’s okay, come in. Tourists are welcome too.” Instantly felt at home. All in all: Good food, good vibes – and I’m coming back for round two!

Old style ramen restaurant with a counter for customers. After entry, there’s a vending machine on your left where you make your selection. Then get a seat at the counter or wait till someone leaves. Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait long. Customers finish and leave quickly. The food is tasty and the regular serving is more than enough to fill you up. Hungry customers can go for medium or large sizes. Recommend the dip ramen. You can get an additional bowl of dip but have to pay after the second.

Delicious al dente udon. I had the thick dipping sauce udon with deep fried pork. The cutlet is so yummy with a seasoned batter. I found the thick sauce a bit too salty for my personal preference. I may go with regular dipping sauce next time. English menu. Different amounts of udon choices to choose from, Generous portion on udon with just the regular size. Quick service. My family enjoyed it a lot.

The food was excellent, I went back in November of last year. But I remember the service was great, timely. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. Felt like a place locals use. You order through a kiosk that was only in Japanese, I was too embarrassed to ask for English menu. I felt the portion size was good, you can double the order of noodles if you want. It is a place I definitely plan to show my friends and family when we are in Japan.

14-15 counter seats, packed for dinner. Ordered at kiosk, waited in line, seated in ~10 mins. Noodles with a killer dipping sauce—loved every bite!
